Huston House
For more than a century, Huston House has stood in Regina. Built in 1911, the building has evolved from a private residence into an impactful resource for nonprofit organizations dedicated to social and educational development after it was purchased in 1977 by the newly incorporated Edna Curren Memorial Fund.
Today, the ECMF continues to pursue its vision and is restoring this historic landmark through a deep energy retrofit that will preserve its heritage while creating a more sustainable future for the organizations and the work they do.
ECMF Mandate
To sustainably manage Huston House and provide physical infrastructure for organizations and individuals working for social, economic and ecological justice, and to nurture a community of solidarity.

The home of this mandate is Huston House, a historical property that has become a hub for collaboration, advocacy, and service.
For decades, Huston House has offered below-market rental costs, allowing nonprofit organizations to focus their efforts where they matter most to advance meaningful causes.
